Fallbrook Community Center
The Fallbrook Community Center is a hub of community life in North County. It hosts a wide variety of recreational and social events and programs. From preschool childcare to senior golf lessons, it offers a wide range of activities to meet the diverse needs of the community. And for those groups, schools, and community organizations that are looking for a meeting place, the auditorium and two meeting rooms are ideal. The center is about play, too: there's a playground, lighted tennis and sand volleyball courts, picnic areas, a basketball court, and a lawn area.

We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, founded in 1979, that offers services and resources for seniors to live safe, healthy, and independent lives while thriving at home.
We help seniors get R.A.D.
- Rides – Care Vans provide door-to-door transportation, 9 am to 4 pm, M-F. Call to reserve a seat.
- Advocates – anything needed from A to Z, both hands-on and referral services, from experienced and knowledgeable staff.
- Day Care – those with physical or cognitive challenges, “The Club” provides mental, social & physical support, 9 am to 4 pm, M-F.
In addition, we offer senior seminars, computer classes, Fix-It Fridays, and caregiver support groups.
We are very proud of our programs and facility, so please come take a tour! Also, if you have the heart to serve in this community, please choose The Foundation! We LOVE Volunteers!
Our programs are almost completely donation-based, we exist because of the kindness and generosity of our donors. So, we welcome donations of any kind: Monthly, Annually, or for just a single event.

This center serves Fallbrook and neighboring Bonsall residents. The center is a "one-stop-shop" for health and human services, including Child Welfare, Public Assistance, and Public Health.
Fallbrook Library
The concept of a "library" has evolved to mean more than just a repository for books and old documents. Today's libraries are centers of learning and research, providing electronic access to a world of information, as well as printed texts.
The new Fallbrook Library is all of these, as well as a community gathering place, an art-filled showplace that is the centerpiece of the community. The building itself is a work of art created by local artists and artisans.
The Reading Garden, Children’s area, Teen Room, Poet’s Patio, Computer Center, and meeting rooms for small groups are among many other features are in constant use. The popular Bottom Shelf Bookstore, managed by the Friends of the Fallbrook Library, sells gently used books and other media to benefit library programs.

Friends of the Fallbrook Library
Organized and incorporated in 1963, it is one of the largest and most active Friends groups in San Diego County. Managed by the governing Board of Directors, it operates the Bottom Shelf Bookstore and provides volunteers to assist the library staff by stocking shelves and helping with children's programs.
The Friends led the fundraising campaign for the new library which includes a permanent art collection, state-of-the-art equipment, a large community room, special sections for teens and children, a computer lab and a larger bookstore.

The Fallbrook Substation serves a population of over 52,000 people in the North County unincorporated communities of Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow, and De Luz. This sprawling 137 square mile command is patrolled by the Department’s largest substation which provides a wide variety of public safety services to the community.
The Sheriff's Department is committed to a continued partnership with the community to keep the area a safe place for families and business.
Deputies are on-duty 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. They respond to each and every call for service. In addition to responding to calls for service deputies patrol the community, conduct preliminary investigations, attend community events such as Neighborhood Watch meetings and make presentations to youth groups and schools. Detectives are on call 24 hours a day to respond to major or complex crime scenes.
SENIOR VOLUNTEER PATROL
Senior volunteers have served the Fallbrook Substation and community since 1995. These volunteers contribute many thousands of service hours each year to the community. Approximately 60 dedicated volunteers provide many valuable services to the community, including:
- Vacation home security checks (maximum of 90 days)
- Visit the homebound (You Are Not Alone - YANA)
- Enforce disabled parking regulations
- Patrol in marked SVP vehicles
- Assist Crime Prevention with public presentations
- Conduct residential and business security surveys
Volunteers undergo a background check, receive training to perform their duties, and are asked to work a minimum of six hours per week. Volunteers are always in need. If interested, please contact us at (760) 451-3144.
