 Secretary of the Treasury announced a 90-day extension for any federal taxes due - from April 15 to July 15.  California Franchise tax board is making a similar 90 day delay

You should be aware of options your employees may have in respect to making an unemployment or disability claim if their work hours and compensation are impacted by COVID-19.  SDNEDC best information at this time is that the state is waiving its usual one week waiting period.  You can access information at the EDD website

Several ISP and Utilities have announced a grace period for paying bills.  We encourage businesses to reach out to these providers as well as your landlord to start discussions as you manage cash flow during this crisis.

The County of San Diego Housing and Community Development Services invites you to apply for the State of California Emergency Solutions Grant. Eligible activities include: emergency shelter, rapid rehousing, street outreach, homeless prevention and HMIS.

San Diego COVID-19 Community Response Fund to rapidly deploy flexible resources to community-based organizations at the frontlines of the coronavirus outbreak in San Diego County.  A new category of assistance has also been added: no-interest loans for nonprofit organizations to provide business and community service continuity.

Small businesses and eligible nonprofit organizations, Veterans organizations, and Tribal businesses described in the Small Business Act, as well as individuals who are self-employed or are independent contractors, are eligible if they also meet program size standards
