General information
7:00 a.m.: Brengle Terrace Park opens
5:00 p.m.: Moonlight Amphitheatre opens
7:15 p.m.: Military and Sponsor Recognition Ceremony on-stage at the Amphitheatre.
7:35 p.m.: Sensation Show Band
9:00 p.m.: Fireworks.
The Sensation Show Band resumes playing after fireworks until 10:00 pm

Food and non-alcoholic beverages may be brought into the park. Alcohol cannot be brought into the Moonlight Amphitheatre but is for sale at the theatre’s Luna Café.

The City of Vista reminds residents to leave their pets secured at home. Loud fireworks, unfamiliar places, and crowds can be very frightening to pets. There is a great risk of pets becoming spooked and running away.

Independence Day Festival & Fireworks

Featuring rockin’ live music by Anthony “Fallbrook Kid” Cullins, Rosa’s Cantina, and UPSTREAM, fabulous food trucks lined up along Broadway Avenue, a beer garden sponsored by Stone Brewing Co, and a wealth of children’s activities and games for everyone to enjoy, including inflatable activities by Wow Factor Attractions and extraordinary chalk art workshops by Cecelia Lanayao. Be sure to stop by SoCal Pro Wrestling’s ring to watch 4 different match-ups throughout the day.  Finally, the festivities will conclude with a special performance by the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band and, of course, a dazzling fireworks display starting at 9:00 pm. You won’t want to miss this annual North County tradition!

For everyone’s safety: No alcohol, barbeques, pop-up tents, or dogs allowed in the park.

The show includes more than 3,600 aerial display counts, with 500 shells in the Grand Finale alone! These aren’t wimpy fireworks either — shells are up to 8″ and include titanium flash salutes, color changing aerial displays, distinctive and unique display shells, and the popular streaking comets and tiger tails!

Our July 4th Fireworks Spectacular starts about 9:00PM. Fireworks are launched from the west end of the racetrack and are choreographed to a soundtrack played through the Corona Grandstand Stage sound system. Favorite viewing areas including reserved Terrace seating and 2nd and 4th levels of the Grandstand, Family Funville, and the Fun Zone.

With fireworks launched from four barges strategically placed around North San Diego Bay, they can be seen from Shelter Island, Harbor Island, the Embarcadero area and Seaport Village/Coronado Landing, and the score is simulcast live on THE MIGHTY 1090 AM and MAX FM 105.7. Just find a place along the bay and you will not be disappointed.
