The Girl Scouts San Diego Fallbrook Service Unit is a vibrant part of Fallbrook’s history. The first Fallbrook Girl Scout troop was founded by Barbara McMillan in 1917, just two years after the organization was founded in Savannah, Georgia. Barbara went on to become the CEO of Girl Scouts San Diego. Her passion for Girl Scouting brought Fallbrook to the forefront of the Girl Scout Movement.
Today, over 100 years later, the Fallbrook Service unit is still making history! Fallbrook Girl Scouts have traveled the world, earned the highest awards in Girl Scouting, and changed our community for the better. Just recently, local Girl Scouts installed carbon monoxide detectors in senior living centers, and created and installed sustainable art for the community. Our Girl Scouts are truly incredible!
The Fallbrook Service Unit is always looking for girls, leaders, volunteers, and community resources! E-mail us to get involved, or if you have questions, suggestions, or ideas! Service Unit volunteer meetings are held every 1st Monday evening at 7:00 pm at FPUD.
